Careers & Employability

At JC6 students receive tailored careers guidance from an accredited professional and work with a wider team of experts with strong links to leading professionals, businesses and universities.

At JC6 we pride ourselves on working to ensure that our students don’t just leave our Sixth Form with excellent results, but also with the confidence, direction and connections to pursue their dream career. Our on-site Careers Officer works with students on a one-to-one and group basis to offer guidance and advice, as well as supporting students to secure industry placements. All JC6 students also get the opportunity to attend employability workshops, motivational talks, careers fairs, taster lectures and tours at leading universities across the country, ensuring that there is no ceiling on their future plans.
